Monsters are enemies found in the dungeon. Each monster occupies one tile on the map. When a monster is revealed, the mist tiles and black tiles around it will become locked. Typically, the player has to kill or otherwise displace the monster in order to progress.
Monsters give experience when killed. They also have a chance to drop chests containing equipment and sometimes gold.
Monster Types[]
There are several different types of monsters in the game.
Monsters with the grey sword icon in the lower left corner deal Physical Damage, so they'll hit the player's armor first. The blue sword icon means Element Damage, which ignores armor and hit the player's character's Life points.
Regular monsters have brown frame around their portrait. If that frame is blue the monster has Magic Carrier skill and drops mana when killed. Elite Monsters have gold frames around their portraits.
Each monster also has different attributes and skills which can be viewed by right-clicking its portrait.

Elite Monsters[]
Elite monsters can be distinguished by gold frames around their portraits. They can pose a significant threat to the player since their attack and life points are higher than usual. They also have an additional skill which often affects every revealed monster in the dungeon. The skill can be:
- Aura of Resistance: All other monsters' resistance is increased by 50%.
- Barbaric Leader: All other monsters attack doubles when this monster is on screen.
- Blood Alliance: All other monsters absorb 50% of their attack damage to life.
- Combustion: All other monsters cursed to explode after two moves.
- Coward: Life and attack decrease by 10% every time another monster is killed.
- Double Rage: All other monsters attack twice per move.
- Justice: Deal out damage taken to other monsters on-screen.
- Massive Shield: All other monsters will be able to block one attack.
- Mirror Force: All other monsters mirror back 50% damage taken.
- Overlord: Attack equal to the hero's life points.
- Puppet Manipulation: All other monsters are granted the power to resurrect once with 50% life.
- Screen Block: All mist tiles are sealed when the monster is on screen.
- Unholy Rise: All other monsters' maximum life is increased by 50%.
- Warlord: While this creature is visible, other creatures can't be killed.
